Additional Studies
The East Forty Women’s Bible Study is led by Connie Hursey. Connie was introduced to Precept in 2008 when she joined the Zanesville group to study “Covenant”. She began leading a group at East Forty in 2013 and took her Precept Leader training in 2021. She has been leading Precept Upon Precept and In & Out studies since then.

East Forty Fall Study
The Bible Brunch Bunch is led by Marlys Barbee. Marlys was introduced to Precept when she joined the Zanesville group in 2014. In early 2016, she attended the Precept Leader Training in Chattanooga and in October of that year she began leading a women’s study near her home. The group meets seasonally in three different homes in close proximity to one another in Morgan County/York Township, Ohio.
They meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am and start their meeting sharing in a meal. Each one brings a little food to share for lunch and they visit and share their lives and experiences while they eat . Around 11:00 am they discuss the lesson they studied for the two previous weeks, usually finishing around 12:30 pm. The next week, during the study time, they watch the video for the previous week’s lesson. They care much for each other and eagerly invite others to join their group. They share prayer requests each week so they can pray throughout the week. Many requests are turned to praise!

The Men’s Bible Study meets on Thursday evenings at the Zanesville Airport, 850 Airport Road, Zanesville, Ohio. The in-person study is led by Joel Downing and currently uses the Precept In & Out series.
The In & Out Series features the same
easy-to-follow daily format as Precept
Upon Precept studies, but provides a
streamlined approach that require
fewer hours of study.
